I started Stefcon with a simple goal: build a mechanical company that focuses on doing things the right way. In our industry there can sometimes be more selling than solving, so I built Stefcon around educating homeowners and clients first so they can make the best decisions for their homes and buildings. My background is hands-on in plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, and I still enjoy being involved in the technical side of the work. Whether it’s troubleshooting a tricky system or helping our team find the best solution for a customer, I believe good work comes from experience, attention to detail, and genuinely caring about the outcome. Outside of Stefcon Mechanical, Emilie and I run Homegrown Hills, where we raise pasture-raised beef and pork, and I’m also a partner in Wildrose Cabins, building four-season cabins designed for Canadian climates. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me on the farm, cooking on the smoker, snowboarding in the winter, riding motorcycles in the summer, or brainstorming the next big idea.
